Wild things in the West

Here is a post on some of the neat things we have been able to see out here in the wild, wild west!

American Gothic

We had the great opportunity to see one of America's most famous paintings in Eldon, Iowa. American Gothic was painted by Grant Wood in the 1930s and is one of the most familiar images in American art... (I know all of that info is probably not very interesting to you all, but being an artist, I can't help getting excited knowing that I had the chance to see one of the greatest paintings in American art history!!! :)

Enjoy these pics!! They make me laugh every time! :)

Aztec Ruins

In New Mexico (which was absolutely gorgeous!) we were able to see the ancient Aztec Ruins. It was so awesome walking around (in the sun!!) exploring something that was 2,000 years old...we felt like Indiana Jones!! hehe!

Our Father in Heaven is truly an almighty God as we have been seeing His awesome work in creation. The great detail and vastness of these mountains, continually reminds me of how powerful my Saviour is!

Great pics! I liked the song you picked, I think Jason C. sounds better on the recorded song than when he is doing it live:) Glad you guys finally had some sunny weather :)
