What we've been up to:
In Missouri, we drove through the small town of Hannibal. We saw the home of Mark Twain (the little white house on the right) and Becky Thatcher's house is right across the street (house with the light and green shutters), and can you see the white picket fence that Tom Sawyer tricked everyone into painting for him? :) This was a neat place to see especially because it brought back memories of watching Huck Finn at Grandma's house with all the cousins, and Jes and I just read the book 2 years ago in the best literature class ever! (thanks Mr. Wasko!) :)
Statue of Popeye the Sailor man! ...one of our favorite cartoons! We never knew he was a real person! We drove through Chester, Illinois... his home town:)

Caleb and Kates will you play cards with me again when we get back?? ...I remember Caleb crushed in that last game of war... Kate and I want a rematch!! :)We miss you too Rayray! Thanks for always calling us on your long drives home from work! We love gettin your phone calls...(go James Taylor! haha) Can't wait to go to NA with ya cuz!
Mother's Day
Us kids got up early, Jes made pancakes, Jord ran into WalMart and got some beautiful roses and yummy chocolate, Josh did the fruit, Jon, Justin and JJ cleaned up the RV and I made some cream cheese bagels...we did all this as quiet as we could, and then turned on some music to let Mom know she could come out :)

Hannibal isn't what i had in mind but great to see it through the eyes of my roving reporter, Ferf. Now I want to meet Olive Oil! What a blessed mom you are,Sandy,and I as well. Thanks.I'm so happy David said we're going to hang out with you the last night...and soon to repeat it all!!! Grandma
